Pensar Academy’s Food and Nutrition Program
Pensar Academy's Food and Nutrition Program offers students well-balanced, free breakfasts and lunches through the CEP Program. Pensar Academy contracts with a local food vendor, L & M Catering, to ensure that the menus provide healthier choices for all students. Pensar Academy provides low-fat dairy products, serves more poultry, uses more whole-grain baked goods, and offers a greater variety of fresh and unsweetened fruits and vegetables through our well-stocked daily salad bar. Fried foods are not on the menu.
Students at Pensar Academy are also given quarterly surveys to determine food choices that they will consume within the dietary restrictions of the Food and Nutrition Program.
